an
inside peep at how meeoow mao
the bijoux graphic cat came into
being. It has become a tradition for us to create a bijoux greetings
card to mark the occasion of the chinese
lunar new year. As a consequence,
meeoow mao

There was some controversy at the time
because we were led to believe that the following new year, 1999, was
to be the year of
the cat. Then we hear on the radio that it's
actually going to be; the year
of the rabbit. After
doing further research on the subject there was even more confusion; Some
astrologers say it's one creature and some say it's the other.
We then came across a story about there being no rabbits in certain areas and
so the nearest
" small furry creature "
substitute was... the cat! and as we here
prefer cats to rabbits;
aaand as we already had meeoow mao
it was decided to take a feline
stand. :-X
